CC645 Maura's Challenge

Maura aka beesmom challenged us to use Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight with the dessert being nature.  As guest designer over the last month for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge, this was the most challenging for me.  Not one of the colors are my go to colors I don't think Pacific Point has been used more than a handful of times.

This is the first one I made.  I decided to use my Penny Black stamp set called Full Bloom.  The sentiment is Heartfelt also by Penny Black.  The layer didn't look good on Daffodil Delight so I decided to just spritz the Daffodil on the card.  I added a few drops of Glossy accents.  The layer was cut from Cottage Cutz dies.

For the second card I used SU's retired Wonderland, stamped the trees in Memento Black.  Then I used a 1 1/4 circle punch to create the mask for the moon.  I then started sponging.
I printed the sentiment from the computer and then adhered the panels with dimensional's.

Let's Chill and Shake CC644

This weeks colors for the Color Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers was chosen by Mary, the colors are Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and White.  Dessert is Christmas in July.  To be honest, I think it would be hard to make a card using these colors without it having a Christmas feel.  Well, maybe flowers would work.

The first design was this stocking.  The die retired from Stampin' Up long ago, but last years and still current Cable Knit embossing folder cried out to be used on it.  I decked it out with some seam binding ribbon in white a white banner with Merry Christmas embossed in Black and Snowflakes cut from my Big Z snowflakes die also retired.  The snowflakes were cut from Fun Foam and painted with Wink of Stella.  I took thread and a needle and sewed them into the bow.

Next was a stair step card using Penny Blacks Let's Chill girl.  I couldn't help getting her because my youngest says "Chill" a lot.  She was colored with Prisma Colored Pencils and Gamsol then I added some embossing paste to her hat and coat.  The designer series paper at the sides is from Frost Wood Lodge.

Last but not least, on Sunday morning while I was working on my designs I got an email from Unity Stamps with a tutorial on a shaker card.  Well, I just had to try it out myself and this is what I came up with.  Since I'd made two of the girls when I made the first card, I decided to use the second on this card.  The scene behind her is the tree from Lovely as a Tree.  I used Glitter for the snow.  The window was cut from Cottage Cutz and the DSP is retired Holiday Treasures.  The only difference in the girl is that she was fussy cut and adhered to the front.  Here is the Link to the Unity Stamps video tutorial.

Along the Beach WT644

Carla, challenged us to use fences in today's challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  I used my new Tranquil stamp from Penny Black.

I stamped it using the Misty, it allowed me to stamp the image with different inks at different times to help create the scene.  The sentiment is also a Penny Black stamp from Heartfelt sentiments set.  I love the enjoy your day because it can be used for many occasions, and keeping it blank inside allows me to do that.  After the stamping was finished I used my aqua painter to make the fence more water colored by adding water and chocolate chip shadows.  I then sponged the sand and sky added water then blotted it off for clouds and highlights.  Wanted to trees darker so sponged on garden green.  added a few dots of Violet for little flowers at the edge of the fence.  Then finally the sentiment in Midnight Muse.

Ingredients
Stamps: Penny Black, Tranquil, Heartfelt
Ink: Distress, Vintage Photo, Bundled Sage, Moved Lawn, SU, Baja Breeze, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Vintage Violet, Midnight Muse
Cardstock and Paper: Cranson 140lb Watercolor and Burlap from a pad

Christmas Gift Set CC643

As one of the guest designers for the Color Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers I had to come up with a design using Gold, Old Olive and Soft Suede.

If you'd like to know how to make the box, a youtube video by Sam Donaldson AKA Pootles shows you how,  Right Here.  The hardest part for me was taking pictures, I'm not very good at that at all and the gold foil and light colors made it difficult for me.

Ingredients
Stamps: DD Pines, To You and Yours, Winter Wishes
Ink: Encore Gold Metallic, Old Olive
Cardstock and DSP: Confetti Cream, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Gold Foil and Frostwood Lodge DSP
Dies and Punches, Delicate Ornaments and Christmas Greeting Thinlets, Impression Obsession Pine, Branch die, Unknown die, Martha Steward Holly branch punch, Confetti Stars Border Punch, Memory Box branch die.
Accessories, Gold EP, Cursive Embossing Folder, Scoreboard, Burlap pulled for bows.

Seas the day

One thing about getting older, I just can't sleep in anymore.  Today was really one of those days where I was up at 4:30.  The sketch challenge over at Splitcoaststamper was up so as I was thinking about what to make with it, I remembered my brother in-laws birthday is the 11th.  He loves sailing, so I went with that theme.

Stamps: Uncharted Territory SU, Ocean Wisdom Stampendous
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Grey, Midnight Muse
Cardstock and Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White and Nautical DSP
Accessories, a wee bit of Wink of Stella on the water.

Christmas In July

Imagine my surprise when I got a message on Splitcoaststampers asking me if I would like to be a guest designer for the Color Challenge.  To say I was excited would be an understatement it can happen for anyone, just play along and if the hostess of the week picks your card as favorite of the challenge then you could be asked.  That's what happened to me with this Card of mine.

Today's colors were picked by Barbara, she went with Pool Party, Tranquil Tide and Silver.  Tranquil Tide I don't have yet...but I could substitute it with a similar color.  I picked Indigo Island.  Dessert for this challenge was Christmas in July.  I'm melting down here in South Florida so this was a pleasure.  Click Here to see all the details.

Have a Honey of a Day

Yesterday I saw this sketch on someones Blog.  I decided to follow the link  here is where it lead, CAS Colours and Sketches and then had this idea for a card.  Just Buzzin By is the SU set I used.  It hasn't seen much ink since I got it a few years back.  It's in my maybe sell pile.  You tell me, should I keep or let it go?

Stamps: Just Buzzin By
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Basic Black Archival, Smoky Slate
Cardstock and DSP Whisper White, Bold Brights DSP
Craft Knife and Fun Foam

Hang in there!

First, I'd like to thank everyone both  here and on Splitcoaststampers who have taken the time to comment on last months big challenge.  It really made it worthwhile for me.

Today's card is from a new to me stamp set from Unity Stamps,  I am trying very hard to only buy stamps that mean something to me personally.  When our girls were younger we had a tire swing on our front lawn.  The girls and all of their friends loved it.  My husband eventually took it down for fear that the branch of the tree might break.  Our girls have not forgiven him.

Mistakes happen, they sentiment was crooked, so what to do?  Well, I decided to mimic the tire,  and punch out a circle then put the sentiment on the lower layer.  Also, in keeping with using what you have, I did use two retired colors of cardstock.

Stamps: Unity Hanging in There
Ink: Versafine Onyx
Cardstock: Whisper White, Green Galore (R), Ballet Blue (R)
Accessories: 1 3/8 circle punch SU.  Dimensionals
Image was colored with Prisma Color pencils.

My Wish List Everything else.

Today I will share my list and thoughts on everything else in the catty.  Starting first with the in colors.  Last year I decided to just get a pack of the assortment cardstock and the markers.  Then if I loved any of them and used them up, then I'd get the pad and a pack of cardstock.  Guess what, it didn't happen.  So this year I am going to do the same, although I am pretty sure that the Lemon Lime Twist pad and a pack of cardstock will follow soon after.

Now on to the other goodies.
Designer Series Paper, this is something I really shouldn't get, I just don't use enough of it but I do have a few must haves this year.
Wood Textures paper stack.  I prefer paper packs, they are easier to leaf though and as a card maker, the size suits me better.  The wood textures I am sure will come in handy for years to come and wood colors never go out of style.
Naturally Eclectic DSP, Love the colors in this paper.

I do like the Coffee Break DSP but I can use the stamps I have to make my own if and when I need it.

Other Paper
Glossy cardstock is fantastic and I am glad to see it back.  I still have some but I am sure I will be adding more.
Very Vanilla Heavy weight, it's about time.

Accessories, honestly there isn't too much because I don't tend to use enough of them.  I tend to go to pearls or rhinestones that are smaller and I color them with sharpies or alcohol markers if I need to.  I have sequins from other companies but the Sequin assortment in iridescent is on the list.  I found it interesting to see so much wonderful new ribbon.  Personally I don't see many card makers using it as much as they use to so I am shying away from adding anything but the Copper Trim which looks super fun to play with.  I love that the watercolor pencils are now in SU colors, but I'm on the fence with these because I tend to gravitate to using my ink and aqua painter to watercolor.  I will be getting the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and the embossing paste, the new mini dimensional.

Tools,  I pretty much have all of them,  except the gift bag punch board, and since I can make bags with my score board, I'm not getting it.

Punches well, here is the dilemma, the daisy punch, I have the old retired sizzix daisies die.  But I do like the Daisy Delight bundle.  So that will wait.  I am really trying to not buy punches anymore.  They are heavy and take up a lot of space.  Having just moved this past year, I realize that if I ever downsize then punches just might have to go.

Embossing Folders, funny I don't use them as much as I used to, so I haven't put any on my list.

Dies, Just the Happy Birthday and the ones in the bundles I want, At Home and  Colorful Season.

My Wish List

My list isn't nearly as long as it would have been had I not spent a month copying cards from the catty using the supplies I have.  Yet, as any card maker knows there are always more supplies you need, um want.  So without further ado, here is my list.

Stamps:
Page 38 So many Shells.  Yes, I know I have a shell set but this one has fabulous sentiments and so it goes on my list.
Page 48 This little Piggy.  I searched and the only pig I have is from a very old set called Very Punny the pig is pretty tiny.  So this cute pig is on my list and I don't feel a bit guilty.
Page 99 Here for You  I like the sentiments, I think they will be a good addition to my sentiment since they are different.  This set isn't new but it caught my eye this year.
Page 124 Star of Light  Same as above, it caught my eye this year love the sentiments and the swirly star stamp.
Page 140 High Tide,  I have two sets, Light unto my Path and Uncharted Territory that have lighthouses but this set has so many stamps to build scenes with.  What's not to love about it, and since it made the catty, I will go ahead and get it.
Page 144 Country Livin'  Okay so I have lived without it for a year but I want to color those boots and the guitar with go nicely with the URock stamp I have.
Page 165  Sheet Music Background.  I hoard sheet music DSP, now I won't have to:)
Page 176  Feather Together, as I mentioned on the last day of my challenge, even though I have Four Feathers, I really love the sentiments is this set.  I still am sitting on the edge with this one though.
Page 177 Fabulous Flamingo, I don't have a nice flamingo stamp, just one I picked up in the dollar bin at Michael's.  I also like the grass and water stamps that go with it.

Bundles:
Page 54 At Home Bundle  Love the look of this bundle.
Page 147  Colorful Season Bundle  I need that Adirondack chair.

Over my years stamping, one of the things that I have learned is to wait awhile before jumping the gun and getting sets that are new.  I can't count the number of sets that I really wanted, that, over time I fell out of love with.  I have also learned that I need to really think about whether or not I can justify the cost of the set and how much I will use it.  This might be the case with the Colorful Season Bundle, that's one very expensive Adirondack chair.

Tomorrow, I will share what other goodies I have on my list.

And Finally, Casing the Catty Day 30

This card on page 176 is the final card I cased from the catalog.  I loved how the colors jumped out at me.  The set used here is Feather Together, another set I didn't get because, just how many feather sets does a girl need.  Well, I think I need this one, the feathers are prettier and the sentiments are wonderful.
So, for my final card in the series, I used my feathers set.  I haven't gotten into the stencil and paste craze............yet!  So, I used a stencil I had on hand from Walmart.  I also don't have Lemon Lime Twist..............yet!  So, I used Twisted Citron Distress ink.

As you can see, I said, "yet."  This month long challenge has certainly taught me to look at what I have first.  I still have a pretty nice sized wish list from the catty though.  Stay tuned, tomorrow I will be revealing my wish list from the new catty.

Stamps: Kind and Caring Thoughts, Four Feathers
Ink: Twisted Citron Distress Ranger, Smoky Onyx Black Versafine
Cardstock: Whisper White
Accessories:  Clear EP, Rhinestones, SU, Stencil, Walmart, Black and White Twine, Target

Thank you to everyone who has been following me this month and for the wonderful comments.

Casing the Catty Day 29

This card on pg, 175 uses the set Wild about Flowers.  It is a set that I has been on my list for a couple of years for some reason I just haven't gotten it.  I only have one retirement stamp and it's in the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, so this one appealed to me more for the sentiments.  I like how they just used the words for you from the sentiment on this card.
What I didn't like on their card was the big bow behind the white panel.  I tend to shy away from large bows because of mailing issues.  I sell my cards at the Sand Lake Library in Averill Park, NY where I used to work.  Most of the people buying the cards are not going to want to deal with extra postage etc.

Stamps: Serene Silhouettes, Gift of Love, Hardwood
Ink: Peach Parfait, Smoky Slate, Versamark
Cardstock: Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky, Peach Parfait, Brushed Silver, Black, Vellum

Casing the Catty Day 28

Very cute card on pg. 166 with a sentiment from "Just Add Text"  It says I appreciate everything you do.  SU designers used the new Just Add Color DSP.  I'm guessing they fussy cut the feathers.

Right away I wanted to use my Four Feather's set with matching dies.  I think it turned out pretty nicely.  Next was the sentiment.  I decided to go with the sentiment from Happy Watercolor.  This card gives me no reason to go out and buy the DSP or the sentiments set.

Stamps: Happy Watercolor, Four Feathers.
Ink: Crushed Curry, Craft White, Smoky Slate, Tangerine Tango
Cardstock: Whisper White, Tangerine Tango
Techniques: Heat Embossing with White EP
Accessories: Oval Die, Feather's die, Gold Cord

Casing the Catty Day 27

Love this card from page 131.  The layout, the wood accents the bright color in the background it just cried out to be recreated with my stash.

Although the photo makes the colors look different  they are actually the same.  SU used the new wood embossing folder, I don't have it so the Hardwood background stamp had to do.  I did have one wooden heart, it didn't have stripes on it so I added them with a marker, they don't show up well in the photo but they are there.  I used burlap for the smaller heart.  The striped DSP in the background was made using my markers.

Stamps: Hardwood SU, Happy Anniversary PTI, Hot to Dot Wheel, Background
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Emerald Envy, Smoky Slate and lots of makers various colors
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Whisper White
Accessories, Wooden Heart, Small Heart Punch,
Burlap DSP, Burlap for bow.

Casing the Catty Day 26

This Thank you card from pg.130 it showcases the set Thankful Thoughts.  The sentiments in this set are really nice.  If I didn't already own more than enough "Thank You" stamps to thank everyone I know and then some, I might be tempted.
For my card, I used Perfectly Artistic DSP which if I recall was a celebration paper.  I think it turned out cute, and pretty similar to the SU sample.  On the inside I used a sentiment from "Sketch It" it says Just a little note to let you know how much your kindness means to me.  That's how I feel about all of you who have taken the time to comment on my cards this month.

Stamps: Thank You Kindly, Sketch It
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Punch:  Leaves from the Bird Punch
DSP: Perfectly Artistic

Casing the Catty Day 25

Stamp in' Ups lovely Noel card on page 121 was much harder to CASE than I thought it would be. The set they used is another set I don't have called Christmas Pines.  They also used the new wood accents Touches of Nature, and the Lots of Labels Framelits.  I believe the background is the new Sheet Music stamp.
As I said, this one was harder than I thought. It started at the beginning, the embossing folder I used goes vertical so I had to turn the card.  Next, my Noel, was smaller. Oh well, I still like it and hope you do too.

Stamps: Greetings of the Season, Noteworthy, Boughs (Don't know what company)
Ink: Emeral Envy, Old Olive, Real Red
Cardstock Whisper White, Old Olive, Real Red
Accessories, Embossing folder Darcie Music, Die Labels Collection framelits.  White Twine.

Casing the Catty Day 24

This card  from Pg. 118 and the set is called Holly Berry Happiness.  Another set that isn't new this year but I don't have it.  The sentiment in the set, Christmas Wishes across the miles would be great to have but since it's the only stamp in the set that I want, I will not be getting it.  Over the years I have gotten much better at not buying when I don't at least like half the stamps in a set.

If I recall this stamp set, with the wreath called Sketch It,
was used by my up line Sharyn Bouck at one of the first Stampin' Up workshops I ever attended.  I feel in love with it.  That being said, I didn't buy it, it was pretty expensive and I didn't have much of a budget for stamping supplies.  Sharyn said "if  you want it all, become a demo," so that's what I did, and she was right.

So on to the card, when I saw this card I immediately thought of using Sketch it.  My card ended up having a much heavier, darker feel to it.  I also got a chance to use Stitched Felt Accents that I've had for ages and haven't used enough.

Stamps: Sketch It, Come to Bethlehem
Ink: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Versafine onyx black
Cardstock: Whisper White, Garden Green
DSP: Retired Regals
Accessories: Stitched Felt and white twine.

Casing the Catty Day 23

Today's card is from the same page as yesterdays.  Another card I loved and thought, I can do that. The hardest part of this card was figuring out the stripped gold ribbon.  I went to the ribbon section of the catty and it wasn't there.  So, how did the artist do it.  Well, I finally figured it out,  page 195 new striped treat bags.

For my card, the challenge was the striped ribbon look from the treat bags.  I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and masked off the stripes.  Then I put versamark all over it and covered it with gold embossing powder.  Voila, gold stripes, cut it down and I think it's a pretty good  replica.  Since I wouldn't ever use the bags this works perfectly for me. This card will be one of the cards I make multiples of this Christmas, I really love it.  Hope you do too.

Stamps: Festive Flurry, Warm Winter Wishes, Word Play
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock, Whisper White, Soft Sky
Paper: Thick Vellum
Embossing Powder in White and Gold
Accessories: Gold Sequins Model Crafts, Rhinestone colored with gold sharpie.

Casing the Catty Day 22

June 22, and the 22 card is from pg. 117.  I thought is was a pretty card, I liked how nicely all the images came together.  I have so many Christmas stamps that I should never buy another set.  For some reason I can't stop myself I love making Christmas cards, tags, and gifts so I know I will be buying more and I can't wait to see the holiday mini.  Maybe I should do a 12 days of Christmas Challenge when it comes out. What do you think?

For my card the first thing that came to mind was the large snowflake from festive flurry it ended up being to big so I went with the second largest in the set.  SU's sample has a few more details, but I am pretty happy with mine.

Stamps: Festive Flurry, Holidays and Wishes, ARTC Snowflakes and die set from Michaels
Ink: Real Red, Versamark
Cardstock: Real Red and Whisper White
Other Papers: Thick Vellum, Gold Glitter
Dies Snowflakes ARTC and Cottage Cutz stitched rectangles

Casing the Catty Day 20

This bear from pg. 110 made it's first appearance last year.  I love it so much.  I really have almost gotten it a few times but I own this bear and really, how many teddy bears does one girl need.

For my card I used my bear which I've had for quite a number of years.  I can't remember where I got it but it's made by a company called Stampcraft.  The only thing on this card that is from Stampin' Up is the Close to Cocoa card base and Whisper White Cardstock and the sentiment which is from Watercolor Wishes.  My DSP is from an old pad I have from Colorbok called Carnival.  A little ribbon and a doily both from the dollar store and it's done.  The bear was water colored using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and on his eyes and nose I used a little enamel accents.

Casing the Catty Day 19

Stampin' Ups new set A Little Wild on pg. 108 had been put on my wish list, will it stay, not sure?  It is such a cute set and I can see making cute window cards with it.

My card made me wish I hadn't sold the set Wild About You.  Anyway, I searched my Evernote file and found that the only lion I own is this little guy from Fox and Friends.  I had to go to the computer this time to get a sentiment.  I did go with something totally different here.  It says "In the jungle the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight."  I also turned this card.  My sequins are larger, I think I might have to get the new smaller ones from SU.

Stamps: Fox and Friends
Ink: So Saffron, More Mustard, Sharpie Black
Cardstock: Whisper White, Old Olive and Vellum
Die: Swirly Scribbles Thinlet
Punch: 1 1/2 circle
Accessories: Sequin trim from Model Crafts.

Casing the Catty Day 18

Happy Father's Day today, and this sentiment is perfect for my father.  Stampin' Ups card is on page 60 so for this one I went back a bit in the catty.  I really like the layout of this card and had a blast recreating it.

Although I like the set Mixed drinks, I already have the retired set Happy Hour and to be honest, it hasn't seen much ink.  So I was happy to case the card in the catty this year, gave me a chance to ink it up.  I think the hardest part of this one was the little chevron type things, I am just not that good at cutting them out straight.

Stamps: Happy Hour
Ink: Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Rose Red, Soft Sky
Card stock: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky, Rose Red, Peach Parfait

Casing the Catty Day 17

Page 93 has the set Weather Together, another set I have resisted buying in the past.  I do like this set but I have to many stamps that are similar to warrant spending money to get this one.

My card should have started with a wash of Soft Sky but I made the mistake of putting all the other elements together first then having to add the sky after.  I do like this one though and certainly feel it is just as nice as the card in the catty.

Stamps: Rain or Shine SU, With Sympathy Avery Elle.

Casing the Catty Day16

This cute baby card pg. 51 caught my eye right away.  I really like the stampin' up card better. Not that it will make be go out and buy anything they've used for this card, just that I won't try to recreate this one anytime soon.  The set they used is not new, I just have never gotten it.  It is called Better Together is it is a great set for anyone just getting into stamping.
My attempt is probably the one card I am most disappointed with my scalloped layer is just ugly and I should have found something more baby like for the DSP.  My DSP layer should have been shown more white.  Finally my sentiment would have been better lower.  The new SU one is bolder so it does show up better on DSP. On mine I tried to sponge around it to darken the paper in hope that it would stand out more.  No luck.

Stamps:Friendly Phrases, Something for baby
Ink:Versamark, Crisp Cantaloupe
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pistachio,
DSP: Sweet Sorbet, Paisley Petals
Sizzix:Scalloped Square die, Apothecary Accents Framelits
Heat embossed with white EP.

Casing the Catty Day15

This card is on page 44, it uses the new set, You Deserve This.  Another set I most definitely don't need.  I looked at it and have most of the sentiments in one for or another.

Today we are halfway through June, hard to believe.  That means, I am halfway through my challenge.  My sentiment Hooray is from the Hooray for you set (R) and you did it came from one of the first Paper Pumpkin kits.  I decided since I don't have wooden stars I would substitute them with gold, I used the confetti star punch, the small star punch and a Provocraft die.  I also stamped on Emerald Envy cardstock with a polymer birthday set I have no clue when I got or who made it, but it had the little flowery star background look I was going for. This is not a card I would ever had made if it wasn't for my challenge.  I'm glad I did, I think it turned out kind of cute.

Casing the Catty Day14

This is also on pg, 39 if the catty.  Super simple quick card.  I like cards like these that you can whip up quickly when you need something fast.  Usually that's when my husband asks for something for someone at work.
For my card I had to think about what would fit to take place of the barn.  I was so happy when I came up with the house from Christmas Lodge.  I haven't used that set as much as I would have liked and was happy to be able to use it for a card other than Christmas.  I stamped the image on Crumb cake in Early Espresso.  The sentiment is from Gift of Love and the ribbon is a piece of Lost Lagoon satin.  Very happy with with simple card.

Casing the Catty Day13

For today's card I picked this one from page 39.  I am a sucker for shells, and so I was drawn to this one.  I am taking the pictures off my computer and this one seems a bit dark,  I like the size of the shells that are in this set and the sentiments and font are beautiful.
For my card, I used the shell from Beautiful Beach (R) and stamped it in Blushing Bride, Peekaboo Peach  and Soft Sky then fussy cut them all.  I then stamped the Hardwood background stamp in Smoky Slate, cut it down and cut a piece of vellum the same size.  Adhered it all to the Whisper White cardbase.  The sentiment was a bit of a harder find, I finally came up with this one from Vintage Verses (R).   I again used Peekaboo Peach and then my ticket corner punch (R).  Added a few pearls, some gold cord and I am quite pleased.  Now if it wasn't for the fact that the sentiments are fabulous in the new set, I might be able to pass it up.
So what do you think?

Casing the Catty Day 12

This card from page 35 I thought was so cute.   I liked the layout and the fun whimsical feel. This set isn't going to be traveling to my house though, because I really don't see me needing it.

Here is my version.  The color looks off I guess I grabbed Pool Party when I should have used Soft Sky.  Oh well.  So, on to the stamps, good luck is from a favorite of mine, Sincere Salutations.  The suitcase, Traveller and congratulations is from Tasty Trucks. I stamped the everything in Smoky Slate except the little branch in the back it is in Twisted Citron distress ink as is the banner in the back.  The little flower is Rose Red and is from a triple punch set.  Silver cord finishes it off.

Happy Stampin'
