This card on pg, 175 uses the set Wild about Flowers. It is a set that I has been on my list for a couple of years for some reason I just haven't gotten it. I only have one retirement stamp and it's in the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, so this one appealed to me more for the sentiments. I like how they just used the words for you from the sentiment on this card.
What I didn't like on their card was the big bow behind the white panel. I tend to shy away from large bows because of mailing issues. I sell my cards at the Sand Lake Library in Averill Park, NY where I used to work. Most of the people buying the cards are not going to want to deal with extra postage etc.

Very nice card. I think you can work around the knot in the bow by just looping the ribbon behind the card and securing it with glue dots. It will look like a bow, but only be folded and looped ribbon.
ReplyDeleteLove them both but I have to tell you, you used one of my favorite stamps but...........I have never used it two tone! Duh!!!
